The organization was founded by its' current President, Tony Colucci, on December 19, 1995 in Schaumburg, IL. Mr. Colucci has over 12 years of Telecommunications and Data Communications experience and has built relationships with access to many carrier rate plans. Mr. Colucci holds an M.H.S. (Master Hotel Supplier) certification title from the American Hotel and Motel Association (AH&MA). Currently, DialTone Management, Inc. has carrier-agent agreements or access to AT&T, Qwest, Ameritech, Sprint PCS, Intellispace and RoomLinx.

By combining and packaging its clientele's local and long distance revenues together and then presenting "volume package" to the carriers, DialTone is able to negotiate the lowest possible rates for its' clients. Every DialTone client benefits as the rates typically reduce themselves automatically as DialTone achieves new "discount levels" due to DialTone's growth in carrier revenues. Each year, DialTone reviews the carrier contracts it maintains with each carrier to re-negotiate rates to guarantee that DialTone will have the lowest rates available for its' clients.
